How did you get started in music?

I've been singing my whole life. I grew up in a very musical family, so I've always been surrounded by music. I was singing in choirs for 15 years, and was always a soloist, haha. Loved to sing in front of a big audience.

I started my career in 2017 when I released a song with MagSonics, and released some more tracks with him after that. I also started to write my own songs at that time.

I was on The Voice Norway 2019, and after that, I connected with some producers and artists. My first single was released in 2020.

When and how did you discover your sound?

I always listened to Beyoncé, Rihanna, and other R&B artists when I was young, so it's always been that genre I love the most. Some years ago I started listening to Ariana Grande and was obsessed with her voice and music. I really got inspired by her, and always performed her songs at concerts haha.

One year ago I really started to find my own sound, because I worked with some new producers and really found my people. After making some songs, I realized that I love a combination of R&B and Pop. My sound is sexy and confident, but also vulnerable and honest. I love to write personal, deep songs, but also

fun songs that make me feel good and make me wanna dance.

How did you get through the pandemic creatively speaking?

Like everyone else, I had to be home most of the time (at least in 2020). But I was studying music at that time, so I didn't spend so much time on my own career. But after the bachelor last year, I got to write a lot of music and really focus on my career. The creativity wasn't always there, but I went through a breakup so that definitely gave me a lot of inspiration and the need to write music. A breakup is definitely a blessing when you're a songwriter, haha.

I remember I also did a lot of covers on youtube, and I always get inspiration from singing other's songs because I get ideas from their sound or how they sing/harmonies etc.

What do you see in the future for yourself musically?

I see myself being on big stages, performing at big festivals around the world, and in general, doing music for a living. I want to release albums, have my own tours, make music with other talented people and collaborate with some big artists. I wanna do everything that I've dreamed of since I was a kid.

I also want to write songs for other artists. I could see myself being a successful songwriter as well. A dream of mine is to write songs for big artists.
